We are in the midst of a large-scale transition. We have seen the end of a decades-long secular cycle with impressive global and economic growth and even more impressive advances in asset prices, largely fuelled by a mix of globalisation, continually declining interest rates, unprecedented central bank induced liquidity and credit, historic government interventions on the fiscal front, and with consumer price inflation nowhere in sight. Those factors of success are being challenged and redefined.

 

What are the implications? And how can we as entrepreneurs, investors and individuals prepare for what lies ahead?

There is much reason for optimism, chances are that things will rebalance and return to a more positive trajectory over time. Humankind has proven, again and again, that It eventually succeeds at progressing. However, history also tells us that this progress is not achieved without some periods of turbulent adjustment. It is in this context that we will be sharing our thoughts and some recommendations for personal preparations and wealth protection, supported by a group of experts across different dimensions - history, politics, business, and investments.
