Interested in Separating Coronavirus Facts from the Hype?

I ask this question because I fully understand that most people prefer going along with the masses. So, if you’re not interested in non-consensus views, you’re in vast (although arguably not good) company. The consensus is always the more comfortable and presumably safe place to travel through life. However, not thinking independently and taking the daily news for truth does come with a price: you expose yourself, your loved ones and your country to the whim of those that might have another agenda…

It is in that spirit that I invite you to watch the video linked below.

Yes, it is long and a bit dry. And, in reflection of the complexity it deals with, it is not as catchy and “juicy” as the content you might find in the New York Times. But it might be exactly what you need if are looking for a valuable, factual, and differentiated (and non-consensus) viewpoint on COVID-19 that differs from the masses.

I am not a doctor, nor am I a virologist. I’m not an expert on the topic of COVID-19. However, as a voting citizen of Switzerland, a country founded on the principles of a direct democracy, I accept the absolute and non-negotiable duty of reading, thinking, and acting independently at the polls.

The privilege of being treated as a free and sovereign individual comes with certain liberties. It also comes with duties. One of the duties is to learn, read and think on our own. If we think we are doing that by merely watching the daily news, we aren’t living up to the challenge…Now, if you interesting in some additional learning and thinking, please get your pen out and take notes!
