Merry Christmas! Scenes from BFI’s Annual Christmas Team Event
As 2023 comes to a close, so does the BFI Capital Group’s celebration of our 30th anniversary. In reflecting on the year, we want to sincerely thank you for having been a part of our journey, our history. We look forward to continuing on that successful path together. In that spirit, we want to share some pictures from our annual Christmas Team Event. While you couldn’t be there with us personally, we hope you can feel like you were a part of the group with this video collage.
For our Christmas Team Event this year, we found ourselves in Lenzerheide, a charming resort village nestled in at 1,476 meters above sea level that serves as a base for skiing in the Arosa/Lenzerheide region in Eastern Switzerland.
Thursday morning, more than half of the team – made up of the teams from BFI Consulting, BFI Infinity, BFI Bullion and aXedras - hit the slopes, while a few others either went snowshoeing, or simply enjoyed the spa of the hotel.
Thursday evening, we had dinner up at the Restaurant Crest’Ota, who opened a bit early in the season specifically and exclusively for the BFI team. After enjoying a glass of wine in the crisp mountain air, looking down in the lit-up village below, we convened for a 2-hour dinner that consisted of great stories, laughs, and the celebration of another successful year.
On Friday, the group received instruction on and played a few competitive rounds of curling, where, in its simplest of terms, players slide stones toward a target broken into 4 circles. As competitive as the event was, many of us learned we should just keep our day jobs! After lunch and a round of hugs and handshakes, we drove back home through the snow and into the weekend.
I hope you enjoy the pictures – and the spirit – of our Team Event video you’ll find here. See if youcan recognize anyone!
All of us at BFI wish you and your family a restful Christmas and a New Year filled with health, success, and happiness!
What is Christmas? It is the tenderness of the past, courage for the present, and hope for the future. ~ Agnes M. Pahro
