The BFI Family Wishes You a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year!

As we approach the holiday season, we always like taking the time to reflect on what was another incredible year. It’s a time of year where we like to focus on the people and things we are thankful for, which includes each other here at the BFI Capital Group. Prior to signing off for the rest of 2022, we want to share some pictures from our annual Christmas Team Event.

For our Christmas Team Event last week, we found ourselves in Arosa, a village in Eastern Switzerland, at the end of the romantic Schanfigg Valley, at an altitude of 1800 meters / 5800 feet. Thursday morning, while the more aggressive went for the slopes, those that didn’t know how to ski – or just had bad knees – opted for snow-shoe hiking, a wintery stroll, or perhaps just time at the wellness area of the hotel.

In the afternoon, we reconvened the entire Group to celebrate the successes from the past year, as well as get into groups to answer questions about our 30-year history (BFI will be 30 in 2023!). The day was capped off by enjoying mulled wine around the fire before a hearty, cosy dinner overlooking the valley.

On Friday, the group went and played a few competitive rounds of Ice Stock Sport, otherwise known as Bavarian curling or Eisstockschiessen in German. It’s a winter sport that is perhaps best described as curling, bocce and bowling rolled into one. And after lunch and a round of hugs and handshakes, we drove back through the snow to slide into the weekend.

I hope you enjoy the pictures – and the spirit – of our Team Event pictures you’ll find here. See if you recognize anyone!

On that note, the entire BFI Family – the BFI Capital Group including BFI Infinity, BFI Bullion, BFI Consulting and AltAlpha Strategies, and aXedras – want to sincerely thank all our readers for the thought, interest, and reflection we have shared throughout 2022.

We look forward to carrying on the tradition for 2023!

We sincerely hope you can take the time over the Holidays to reflect, recharge, and spend quality time with your friends and family.

Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

As the year comes to a close, it is a time for reflection – a time to release old thoughts and beliefs and forgive old hurts. Whatever has happened in the past year, the New Year brings fresh beginnings. Exciting new experiences and relationships await. Let us be thankful for the blessings of the past and the promise of the future.” ~ Peggy Toney Horton
